World Oral and Dental Health Day

Today, Monday, March 20, 2023, tabeebokcenter, located in Al-Qarah City in Al-Ahsa, organized the World Oral and Dental Health Day event, where it hosted the students of the third primary school in Al-Omran City with the aim of holding awareness and health education campaigns for students and the community by intensifying awareness messages about oral and dental health.

On March 20 of each year, the world celebrates the World Oral and Dental Health Day, and the launch and celebration of this day comes with the aim of raising global awareness of issues related to oral health and the importance of oral hygiene so that governments, associations, health centers and clinics and the general public can work together to achieve the desired goal of this day, which is that the mouth is healthy and free of diseases and that the individual enjoys a happy life. 90% of the world’s population suffers from oral diseases in their lifetime, and many people neglect these diseases.World Oral Health Day was first launched on March 20, 2013 by the World Dental Federation. On this occasion, today, Monday, March 20, 2023, tabeebokcenter, located in Al-Qarah City in Al-Ahsa, organized the World Oral and Dental Health Day event, where it hosted the students of the third primary school in Al-Omran City with the aim of holding awareness and health education campaigns for students and the community by intensifying awareness messages about oral and dental health.And holding activities and events that aim to raise awareness of how to take care of oral and dental health. Dr. Ahmed Al-Mudhhi also spoke about the focus of awareness campaigns on the occasion of the approaching blessed month of Ramadan on education on how to take care of oral and dental hygiene, and nutritionist / Munira Al-Saqr spoke about the importance of proper nutrition and its impact on oral and dental health and the extent of the close relationship between oral health, public health and quality of life, and oral and dental health specialist / Muntaha Al-Hababi praised the encouragement of awareness campaigns in promoting awareness about the importance of visiting the dental clinic for periodic examination twice a year to conduct General examination on the mouth and teeth, and Dr. Marwa Al-Habara, a dentist, taught students the correct brushing method, and Dr. Nada Al-Mubarak stated that the complex currently provides a free dental examination and cleaning service until next Wednesday, March 22. After talking about awareness of oral and dental safety, they went to dental clinics to examine and detect the safety of their teeth, clean them and educate them about the importance of periodic cleaning of teeth, after which healthy meals were distributed to students and memorial photos were taken with the medical staff of the tabeebokcenter.
